A hanging punching bag is a filled cylindrical heavy bag suspended from a ceiling hook or wall bracket. Ours come pre-filled in three sizes — 10kg, 25kg and 40kg — with a soft outer layer over a firm, compacted core. Each bag ships with a 1-metre chain, carabiner and ceiling hook.
The details that change how a bag feels after the first ten minutes — not the ones that look good on a spec sheet.
No sand, no rags, no settling. The bag arrives at its stated weight with the core already compacted, so the density does not sag toward the bottom after a month of use.
The outer layer gives slightly on contact to protect your wrists and knuckles, while the compacted centre stops the bag folding around your fist. That combination is what lets you throw hard hooks without jarring your joints.
A 1-metre chain, swivel carabiner and ceiling hook come in the box. The swivel matters — it lets the bag rotate instead of winding the chain up as you work angles.
The 75cm and 110cm bags clear a standard 2.6m HDB ceiling comfortably with room to move underneath. Bring your ceiling height to the showroom and we will work out the drop for you.

The mount that makes a heavy bag possible at home.
A properly wrapped hand tightens into one solid fist.
A sparring partner that never gets tired, and never hits back.
The five things buyers ask us most about this product.
The long-standing rule is roughly half your bodyweight. A 60kg adult is well served by the 25kg P105; someone at 80kg or above will get more out of the 40kg P125. Buy heavier if you mainly want power and conditioning, lighter if you want speed and movement. Read our punching bag weight guide for a full sizing table.
Not directly from the ceiling slab in most cases. HDB guidance limits objects suspended directly from a ceiling to about 6kg, which no heavy bag meets. The practical options are a wall-mounted bracket fixed into a structural concrete wall, or a free-standing frame. Our HDB installation guide covers both, and the WM-40 wall bracket is rated to 100kg.
Yes. Every hanging bag ships pre-filled and compacted to its stated weight. You only need to attach the supplied chain and carabiner to your hook or bracket. There is nothing to pack, pour or settle.
Hand wraps are essential; gloves are strongly recommended. Wraps bind the small bones of the hand together so impact is spread across the whole fist instead of loading one knuckle. A pair of 2.4m cotton hand wraps costs $15 and will save you a great deal of grief.
Allow the bag height plus roughly 40cm for the chain and hook, then leave at least 20cm of clearance beneath. For the 110cm bag that means about 1.7m of drop, which fits under a standard 2.6m ceiling with plenty of head room.
